Joachim Bron

Research Assistant

BACKGROUND

Joachim was born in Peru, and grew up in Latin America and West Africa. He received his B.Sc. degree in aerospace engineering from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in 2023. There he conducted research in the field of flow visualization at the High Speed Laboratory. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer.

RESEARCH

Joachim is currently pursuing a S.M. in Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Gas Turbine Laboratory (GTL). His current research involves the experimental investigation of flutter damping in a full aero-engine through forced-response system identification. His interests lie in fluid mechanics, propulsion, turbomachinery and control theory, to name a few.
