Dr. Marshall Galbraith
Research Engineer
BACKGROUND
I received my B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Cincinnati and I am currently a research engineer in the AeroAstro department.
RESEARCH
My research has been on high-order finite element methods for CFD with output-based mesh adaptation. This ranges from full potential flows, to RANS to LES. I’ve also worked on parametric geometry construction that includes sensitivity analysis. More recently my work is focused on hybrid-electric propulsion strategies.
EXPERTISE
Expertise: High-order finite element methods with mesh adaptation for CFD.
